I have been an advocate for and received massage therapy for three years. Given the physical nature of my job, I NEED massage therapy. I always thought for a massage to be effective the therapist should apply a lot of physical pressure. However, I have come to know this as being untrue.

My sister first introduced me to Eden’s Touch, after injuring my back. Two weeks of chiropractic care had resulted in NO relief. Upon receiving an excruciating adjustment—which brought me to literal tears, the decision was made to call Eden’s Touch.

During the massage session, Diane shared numerous observations about my fascial system that, interestingly enough, coincided with back-related complications encountered over the years.

After completing my massage, I was told my alignment was still off, but could continue to ‘shift,’ moving back into place. Movement for a person varies and could transpire in different ways. That evening, as I prepared to sit down at the kitchen table, I felt and heard a pop sound. That was the shifting my body needed. By the next morning, I was 99% better. It was amazing!

Since then, I have switched my massage therapy services exclusively to Eden’s Touch. By doing so, I have experienced resolution of other issues that were unable to be addressed through traditional massage and I no longer believe there has to be a lot of pressure for massage to be effective.

I have, and will continue to refer others to Eden’s Touch with full confidence!

In 2009, I had two bunion surgeries that failed and my foot problems only worsened. I heard from a friend at yoga that Diane at Eden’s touch therapy might be able to help me with my pain. I was willing to try anything because at this point just walking was becoming difficult. At age 50 with 1/2 of my life left to live I was pretty depressed.

Through the help of Diane, Gina and Mary my life is completely different; I am back to my active lifestyle. Now I am able to walk 3 miles a day, last year I went on a 12 day walking trip to Germany and this last fall I took a 10 mile hike in the Colorado mountains. I never would have been able to do any of these activities without Eden’s Touch Therapy.

I had a full physical at Mayo in May this year and got another opinion as what to do with my foot. When the doctor read the X-rays he could not believe that I was walking un-aided and said whatever I was doing just keep on doing it.

A big thanks to Eden’s Touch Therapy and my weekly massages,

Robin P.

I first went to Eden’s Touch Therapy I was in never-ending pain. I had constant migraines and had lost over 40 lbs from constant vomiting. I sought out doctor after doctor and they all kept saying there wasn’t much they could do for me.

Finally, I went on a bunch of pills and antidepressants and I saw a dietitian, but everything just got worse. The three different doctors I saw, did not know what else to do for me.

After my first session at Eden’s Touch Therapy, my vomiting got less and I experienced some relief and progress that in turn gave me hope. Eventually, my migraines went away and so did my vomiting. Overall, my health has began to slowly get better.

Thankful,

I couldn’t get up because of back spasms. After getting a massage at Eden’s Touch, the spasms were gone, I was able to move more freely and sit at work with out pain.

Occasionally I have severe headaches for which typical forms of headache relief do not work. After a session with the therapists, my headaches are considerably reduced or gone all together, so I am able to function and focus on my daily activities.

Also, when I get vertigo, a massage session completely takes it away!

I had been going to many medical doctors for symptoms of constipation; I was having narrow stools.  I was not helped.

When I came to Eden’s Touch, the therapist worked on scar tissue from my appendectomy and my gut.  While the therapist was working, we prayed and I talked with Jesus.

It has been about 9 months and I am still completely healed!

It was “serendipity” that I heard about Eden’s Touch Therapy. After 25 years of direct patient care as a nurse at a University and Research Hospital, I retired early because of unrelieved shoulder and neck pain and weakness and more frequent migraine headaches. With several work-related injuries over the years, I was treated by physicians of various specialties with medications and physical therapy with minimal results. Massage therapy described as “myofascial release” lasted one day.

While I might have been skeptical that the therapists at Eden’s Touch Therapy could treat and relieve the pain and headaches, I was open to trying their therapy since my activity level was so reduced to a point that was unacceptable to me and I was needing medication around the clock. After a few months of removing the many fascial restrictions that triggered pain, the therapists are now able to relieve deeper traumas to my muscular fascial system and over the 15 months that they have used their “light touch” on me, I no longer have the migraines and can move my arms above my shoulders without pain, garden again in a very active way, and engage in aerobics and yoga more completely. Also, I am off medication except for the occasional dose of ibuprofen when I have normal muscle aches.

I did not expect to regain as much movement nor be rid of migraine headaches as I now have, thanks to the therapists at Eden’s Touch Therapy.

I was in an auto accident 20+ years ago which led me to go to a chiropractor for my back and neck.  I was referred to Eden’s Touch by my chiropractor because the adjustments were not holding.

I was getting frustrated because I value health, live an active lifestyle and this was interfering with my work, running, biking, and life in general.

I offered to write this testimonial without being asked because I was completely healed today.  My hope is that my learnings would encourage you in your journey.  Here is what I learned.
     1.  Stay the course.  My journey was going once a month for 2.5 years.  At times I wanted to stop going because I wondered if I would ever be able to be completely healed.
          Thankfully, I stayed the course.
     2.  Keep the faith.  Because I am a Christian, I knew God’s will was to heal me completely.  While I had been to other massage therapists and cranial specialists, Eden’s Touch was different.  They are Christ centered and vessels for healing.
     3.  Do the work.  I prayed during every session and before and after every session.  I even asked them to pray with me during a few sessions because I didn’t know what to pray.  I also studied healing to understand how to heal.  I know it was God who healed me and that they are a vessel.

1 Peter 2:24 He himself bore my sins in His body on the cross, so that I might die to sin and live for righteousness, “By His wounds I have been healed!”

What this means is that here is no place for sickness in our bodies.  That Jesus bore our sins, pain, sickness and died on the cross so we could be healed!

I learned a lot of healing by studying the Bible, praying and being in a small group.  Healing is available for everyone.  We just need to choose it, believe it and learn how to receive it.

Thank you to Diane and Gina for being such a blessing to all of us who have benefitted.  Most of all, “Praise God” for complete restoration and healing.
