Fascial Release
You can picture your fascia as a 3-dimensional, uninterrupted web of tissue that extends from head to toe, front to back, interior to exterior, inside to outside, core to surface. It’s like your very own internal “body suite” that covers, holds and protects all the body’s other structures. When there’s a restriction of movement in one part of your body, it means your fascial “body suite” is being pulled, causing you pain. During a fascial release massage, our therapists will work with one or all three layers of fascia, following the fascial tension to its source. Then by applying gentle touch pressure, we help your body’s fascia relax and release.
CranioSacral Therapy (CST)
Your brain and spinal cord—the very foundations of your central nervous system—are protected by soft tissues (the fascia) and fluid that we call your CranioSacral system. Everyday stresses and strains often cause these tissues to begin tightening, potentially affecting your brain and spinal cord. With this light touch massage therapy your entire body is given the chance to release tension, self-correct and just relax.
Orthopedic Massage
As an advanced sports massage, orthopedic massage is ideal for those hoping to improve a medical condition or a doctor diagnosed pathology. Utilizing a unique multidisciplinary approach, your body’s structural balance is restored which then allows our massage therapists to focus on rehabilitation and prevention of further pain and injuries in your body.
Sports Massage
Through movement and gentle manipulation our therapists work with the soft tissue in your muscles, tendons, ligaments and connective tissue so they are able to begin releasing tension. A sports massage will greatly helps reduce pain, increase flexibility and restore your range of motion.
Reflexology
During a reflexology session, our therapists apply appropriate pressure to specific points on your feet and hands that correspond to various body organs and systems in your body. Reflexology helps your body better heal itself as it reduces the effects of stress while it addresses areas of pain, illness and dysfunction your body might be holding.
Deep Tissue Massage
A deep tissue massage at Eden’s Touch Therapy does not mean a heavy-handed, intense pressure massage. Instead, we use soft intentional touch to address your tissue layer by layer to get to the very deepest level of tissue.
