I have been an advocate for and received massage therapy for three years. Given the physical nature of my job, I NEED massage therapy. I always thought for a massage to be effective the therapist should apply a lot of physical pressure. However, I have come to know this as being untrue.
My sister first introduced me to Eden’s Touch, after injuring my back. Two weeks of chiropractic care had resulted in NO relief. Upon receiving an excruciating adjustment—which brought me to literal tears, the decision was made to call Eden’s Touch.
During the massage session, Diane shared numerous observations about my fascial system that, interestingly enough, coincided with back-related complications encountered over the years.
After completing my massage, I was told my alignment was still off, but could continue to ‘shift,’ moving back into place. Movement for a person varies and could transpire in different ways. That evening, as I prepared to sit down at the kitchen table, I felt and heard a pop sound. That was the shifting my body needed. By the next morning, I was 99% better. It was amazing!
Since then, I have switched my massage therapy services exclusively to Eden’s Touch. By doing so, I have experienced resolution of other issues that were unable to be addressed through traditional massage and I no longer believe there has to be a lot of pressure for massage to be effective.
I have, and will continue to refer others to Eden’s Touch with full confidence!
